PRECHÁDZKA EXTERIÉROM, INTERIÉROM A PARKOM
Neogotický kaštieľ v Galante, postavený rodom Esterházyovcov v roku 1633, je symbolom mesta a národnou kultúrnou pamiatkou. Pôvodne renesančný objekt prešiel v roku 1861 radikálnou prestavbou v štýle romantickej anglickej gotiky, ktorá mu dala dnešnú charakteristickú podobu s bohatou fasádou a vežou, vyobrazenou aj v mestskom erbe.
Aktuálny stav a expozície
Hoci je časť kaštieľa v dlhodobej rekonštrukcii, zrekonštruované krídla sú živým kultúrnym centrom: Dom kultúry Galanta +1
- Severné krídlo: Slúži ako výstavný pavilón s pamätnými izbami venovanými hudobníkovi Zoltánovi Kodályovi a spevákovi Karolovi Duchoňovi.
- Severná veža: Ponúka tematickú reštauráciu s kaviarňou a vínnu pivnicu.
- Južná veža: Prístupná verejnosti s expozíciami a vyhliadkou. Esterházy Galanta +2
Mestský park
Kaštieľ obklopuje rozsiahly historický park, ktorý je najväčšou zelenou plochou v Galante. Po revitalizácii v roku 2011 ponúka: Dom kultúry Galanta
- Vzácne dreviny: Staré duby, tisy, ginko dvojlaločné či platan javorolistý.
- Relax: Drevené detské ihrisko a oddychové zóny.
- Podujatia: Pravidelne sa tu konajú koncerty, jarmoky a podujatia ako Noc múzeí a galérií.
Praktické informácie
- Otváracie hodiny parku: V zimnom režime zvyčajne 7:00 – 18:00 (cez víkendy od 8:00).
- Otváracie hodiny expozícií: Utorok až piatok 9:00 – 17:00, v sobotu 12:00 – 17:00.
- Vstupné: Areál parku je voľne prístupný, prehliadky interiérov sú spoplatnené.
